Position: RN – Labor & Delivery SNSN SN
Location: Brownfield, Texas
Shift: Days – 3x12s (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Duration: 12 weeks
Job Duties
• Provide full-spectrum OB care including antepartum, labor & delivery, nursery, and mother/baby .
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery.
• Assist with deliveries and provide immediate newborn care.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum and newborn care.
• Administer medications and manage patient care plans.
• Float to Med-Surg when census is low to remain available for incoming OB cases.
• Document patient care using OBEX and CPSI/Trubridge systems.
Requirements
Requirements:
• Active RN license (Texas or compact state)
• AHA BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NRP certification required
• Ability to work in a low-volume, high-responsibility setting
• Comfortable handling all aspects of OB care independently
• Willingness to float to Med-Surg as needed
