Hired candidates will step into a full‑time role supporting product, commercial, and technical initiatives across the business. Through hands‑on experience, cross‑functional collaboration, and exposure to leaders and customers, individuals will develop the skills and perspective needed for future growth within Hilti.What You'll do
Drive Product & Business Strategy
- Support product vision and roadmap development for key business units by analyzing market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscapes.
- Contribute to product leadership initiatives by helping align North American needs with Hilti’s global strategy and sharing best practices across markets.
- Assist with aspects of product portfolio management, including time‑to‑market activities, pricing initiatives, and performance tracking.
- Collaborate with engineering, materials management, marketing, training, trade teams, customer service, and market reach to support strong product performance and information flow.
- Partner with trade managers and field teams to deepen product and application knowledge, support launch activities, and strengthen customer value propositions.
- Participate in strategic planning activities, including product demonstrations, field immersions, and cross‑functional review sessions.
- Gain direct exposure to customer needs through ride‑alongs, customer visits, and product demonstrations.
- Learn to lead through influence by supporting cross‑departmental decision‑making and driving alignment across teams.
- Develop communication, presentation, and coaching skills essential for future leadership roles.
- Own key deliverables tied to revenue, margin, product performance, and operational excellence.
- Evaluate complex business challenges, assess ROI, and recommend actions that drive sustainable growth.
- Serve as a subject‑matter resource for selected products, supporting training content, launch materials, and internal enablement efforts.
What You’ll Bring
Successful candidates typically bring a combination of technical curiosity, analytical strength, and developing leadership capability, such as:
- Recently completed MBA or advanced degree; bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, marketing, construction management, or a related field
- Approximately 4–7 years of professional experience in areas such as product development, field engineering, technical sales, operations, or marketing
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, solve problems, and navigate ambiguity with limited direction
- Strong communication skills and comfort collaborating across functions and influencing without formal authority
- Analytical capability, including comfort working with data, drawing insights, and presenting recommendations clearly
- Interest in developing leadership skills, including coaching, communication, and strategic thinking
- Ability to thrive in dynamic environments and work independently as well as part of a team
- Willingness to engage directly with customers and field teams to understand real‑world applications
