JOB SUMMARY
Vaco Technology is currently seeking a Business Analyst for a 6M Contract opportunity (w/ the potential to convert to fulltime) that is located in Irving, TX 75063 (onsite M / T / Th | 3days per week). The ideal Business Analyst will be a self-starter who thrives in digital environments and can independently drive initiatives from concept to delivery. The Business Analyst must have a strong background in digital platforms and transformation, exceptional communication skills, and a proven ability to translate business needs into actionable user stories and technical requirements.

• Strategic Liaison – Act as Liaison Between Business Stakeholders / Marketing Teams / Developers / Designers | Ensure Alignment on Digital Goals and Delivery
• Requirements Gathering – Facilitate Discovery Sessions / Workshops / Stakeholder Interviews | Document Business / Functional / Technical Requirements
• User Stories / Agile Support – Write Clear / Complete / Testable User Stories and Acceptance Criteria | Support Agile Development / QA Efforts
• Agile Ceremonies – Participate in Sprint Planning / Backlog Grooming / Daily Standups / Retrospectives
• Process Analysis – Analyze Business Processes / Digital Journeys / Customer Touchpoints | Identify Opportunities for Optimization / Innovation
• UX Collaboration – Work with UX / UI Designers to Create Wireframes / Workflows / Customer Journey Maps | Support Cohesive Digital Experiences
• Digital Platform Support – Support Implementation of Digital Platforms (Websites / CMS / CRM / Marketing Automation / Analytics Tools)
• User Acceptance Testing – Lead or Support UAT | Develop Test Cases | Track Defects
• Performance Monitoring – Monitor Digital Performance Metrics and KPIs | Support Continuous Improvement
• Communication – Communicate Project Updates / Risks / Dependencies to Stakeholders and Leadership

About the Project : A leading energy solutions provider is undergoing a significant digital transformation to modernize its customer engagement and operational platforms. The company is focused on integrating advanced digital tools, including CRM, marketing automation, and analytics, to enhance customer experience, streamline processes, and accelerate business agility. The Business Analyst will support the transformation by bridging business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver scalable digital solutions across web, CMS, and marketing platforms. The project emphasizes Agile delivery, continuous optimization of customer journeys, and data-driven decision-making, leveraging Salesforce, HubSpot, Sitecore, and Azure DevOps. The Business Analyst will play a key role in translating complex business needs into actionable user stories, driving collaboration with UX/UI teams, and supporting end-to-end digital platform implementation and performance monitoring.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Business Analyst (5 years) – Focusing on Digital Products / Platforms / Transformation Initiatives
• User Story Development – Writing High-Quality User Stories and Acceptance Criteria (hands-on)
• Agile Methodologies – Agile / SCRUM / Kanban /Jira / Confluence / Azure DevOps / Miro, etc.
• Digital Platforms (familiarity) –WordPress / Drupal / Sitecore / Salesforce / HubSpot / Marketing Automation Tools, etc.
• UX / Analytics – UX Principles / Customer Journey Mapping / Data-Driven Decision-Making
• Organizational Skills – Strong Organizational Skills / Ability to Manage Multiple Priorities Independently
• Communication – Excellent Written and Verbal Communication | Ability to Clearly Articulate Business and Technical Concepts to Diverse Audiences
