You will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, including financial statement preparation, budgeting, and auditing. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers competitive compensation and benefits, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Staff Accountant, you will:

1. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
2. Perform detailed analysis of financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
3. Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
4. Coordinate with external auditors to ensure accurate and timely completion of audit processes.
5. Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.
6. Participate in special projects and perform ad hoc financial analyses as required.
7. Provide training and guidance to junior accounting staff.
8. Stay current with industry trends and changes in accounting regulations to ensure compliance.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Permanent Staff Accountant position, you must have:

1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. 5+ years of accounting experience, with 1 to 3 years in public accounting.
3. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is highly desirable.
4. Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
6. Experience with accounting software, such as QuickBooks or SAP.
7. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and prepare reports.
8. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
9. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
10. A high level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
