Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Rosenberg TX Job Duties:

• Inspect, operate, or test machinery and equipment to identify malfunctions
• Dismantle machines and equipment using hoists, cranes, hand tools, or power tools to access and remove defective parts
• Perform routine maintenance such as checking fluid levels, inspecting drives, motors, or belts, and replacing filters
• Diagnose mechanical issues by referencing blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs
• Repair machines, equipment, or structures using tools like hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and precision testing devices
• Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, or mechanical equipment
• Adjust functional parts or control instruments using tools such as levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges
• Order necessary parts, supplies, or equipment from catalogs or suppliers
• Changed ball bearings and worked on hydraulic systems to restore and maintain machine function
• Communicated with vendors to obtain quotes and source replacement parts or equipment
• Created and maintained a preventive maintenance (PM) schedule for machinery and support systems
• Performed general facility repairs, including basic carpentry, painting, and drywall patching as needed
• Experience working with and maintaining conveyor belts for smooth material handling operations
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Rosenberg TX Requirements:

• At least 3 years of industrial maintenance or mechanical repair experience
• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and schematics
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks daily
• Must have a completely clear criminal background (including misdemeanors)

Location: Rosenberg, TX
Pay Rate: $28-30/hr DOE
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM
