Field Technician

EBryIT is currently seeking a W2VHE Computer Field Technician to assist us with a temporary staff augmentation project starting on ASAP.

The Computer Field Technician will be required to have 2+ years of business professional experience in the IT field. The technician will need to be able to keep up with the high pace of installs and crawl under desks to do wire. MUST have a good work ethic.

Project Dates: ASAP.

Workdays: Monday-Friday.

Hours of work: 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Computer Field Technician- Temp to Full time.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• 2yrs experience in servicing/deploying/troubleshooting computer equipment.
• Must have proven customer service background. Individual will be knowledgeable of Windows operating system environment.
• Able to comprehend and follow verbal and written technical instructions and scripts.
• Provides desk side support in the problem isolation.
• Qualified resources should have A+ certification or equivalent skill set.
• Tech needs to be able to keep up with the high pace of installs and crawl under desks to the wire.
• Must be able to stoop, bend and kneel throughout the day.
• Must be able to travel to onsite locations in the Houston area when needed.

Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma. Associate's degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Information Services.
• Two-year college or technical school preferred and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have a good driving record over the last 3 years.
• Must have reliable transportation to travel to all customer sites.

**Required to pass a national criminal background check, drug screen, and sexual offender registry & MVR check**
