We are seeking a Senior Designer with substantial residential experience - someone who understands the realities of construction, coordination and execution at a high level and who wants to continue refining their craft within a studio producing thoughtful, elevated work.

This position is for a designer who has seen the full lifecycle of luxury residential projects - from early concept through construction, installation and closeoutl - and who can translate creative vision into clear, buildable outcomes. You will work closely with the studio leadership team to develop, document and execute interiors that are intentional, sophisticated and resolved with rigor from concept through completion. · Produce and oversee detailed CAD drawings, plans, elevations, and specifications

· Develop comprehensive FF&E packages, finish schedules and material palettes

· Coordinate closely with architects, builders, fabricators and consultants

· Anticipate construction and execution challenges before they arise

· Maintain design integrity and clarity throughout the course of multiple simultaneous projects

Who This Role Is Perfect For

· A senior-level designer who understands how ambitious residential work is delivered

· Someone who values discipline, precision and longevity in design

· A designer eager to continue learning and evolving within a studio committed to excellence

· Someone interested in growing responsibility and influence over time as the studio continues to expand and deepen its work

This Role Is Not

· A junior or mid-level training position

· A styling-only or décor-focused role

· A commercial or corporate interiors position

· A freelance, part-time, flexible or loosely structured role

Requirements

· 4+ years experience in high-end residential design or architecture-focused studios

· Deep familiarity with the build process for luxury homes, including renovations and ground-up work

· Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD

· Strong understanding of construction sequencing, detailing, and materials

· Ability to manage complex projects with independence, confidence and discretion

· Clear, polished communication and presentation skills

· Ability to travel to and from job sites, lift and carry light to medium size loads (up to 20 lbs) on occasion

Please submit resume and cover letter. This job is in Austin with required work in our office.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Christina Simon Studio does not provide sponsorship for employment visa status.

Benefits

· Competitive compensation commensurate with experience

· Health insurance plan with BCBS paid at 100%

· 401K with 4% match

· Quarterly performance bonuses

· PTO including end of year holiday closure
