Openwork is partnering with the Harris County Tax Office to hire reliable, detail-driven Window Tellers who are ready to contribute to essential public services throughout Harris County.

The Role:

As a Window Teller, you will be a key point of contact for the public, delivering accurate service while maintaining compliance, efficiency, and professionalism.

What You’ll Do:

• Process vehicle registrations, titles, licenses, and property tax payments
• Accurately handle cash, card, and check transactions
• Review and verify identification and documentation
• Enter and maintain sensitive data in secure state systems
• Balance daily transactions and maintain accurate financial records
• Provide clear, courteous assistance in a high-volume service environment
• Complete training and follow established procedures to ensure consistent service quality

What We’re Looking For:

We value professionals who bring reliability, focus, and strong customer service skills:

• High school diploma or U.S.-accredited GED
• At least 6 months of recent in-person customer service experience with cash handling
• Typing speed of 30+ WPM
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Dependable attendance and professional conduct
• Ability to work calmly and effectively in a public-facing setting

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay: $15.00 per hour, paid weekly
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
  Occasional Saturdays and limited travel to nearby locations may be required
