Project Engineer (Highway Expansion Project)

Protecnium is an international consulting firm specializing in engineering and technical services ( We are currently looking for a Project Engineer to join our team for a construction project in San Antonio, TX (100% Onsite).

Project: Heavy civil / highway expansion

Estimated Duration: 1 year- In general, when the project ends, we try to relocate the employee to other projects to ensure continuity.

Location: San Antonio, Texas, USA.

Responsibilities

• Support in the planning, coordination, and control of project activities.
• Monitor schedules, cost control, and progress management.
• Review and manage technical documentation, drawings, and site reports.
• Coordinate with the engineering team, contractors, and suppliers.
• Prepare progress reports and support during follow-up meetings.
• Conduct occasional site visits to verify compliance of works and collect information.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering (preferred focus in Structural Engineering).
• 3–7 years of experience in construction projects (highway/heavy civil preferred).
• Work permit or right to work in the USA (TN visa may be considered if applicable).
• Willing to commute or relocate to San Antonio, TX.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, ~40 hours/week.
