This role is responsible for job cost opening and closing, invoicing, and day-to-day accounting support. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Field Point, working knowledge of NetSuite, and familiarity with Corrigo.
Responsibilities
- Open and close jobs within Field Point, ensuring accurate job cost tracking from start to finish
- Prepare, review, and process customer invoicing through Field Point
- Support month-end and job closeout reconciliation for power generation projects
- Enter and maintain accounting data in NetSuite
- Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable tasks as needed
- Coordinate with managers and field staff to confirm job status, scope changes, and billing details
- Maintain accurate, organized records for audit and reporting purposes
- Utilize Corrigo for related tracking/reporting tasks as required
- Perform other accounting clerk duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Prior experience opening/closing jobs and processing invoices in Field Point required
- Experience working with NetSuite required
- Knowledge of Corrigo preferred
- Prior experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related clerical role, ideally within power generation, construction, or field services
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Strong work ethics
- Solid organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with project managers, field teams, and staff
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general office software
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- 1–3+ years of relevant accounting clerk experience preferred
