As a key department within one of the nation's top health science centers, we offer an exceptional environment for advancing molecular and translational research. New hires will gain access to excellent research facilities, opportunities for collaboration within the Texas Medical Center, and a strong dedication to academic excellence, mentorship, and career growth. The BMB Department is host to several research Centers of Excellence, including Structural Biology Imaging, and Membrane Biology. Successful candidates will be expected to establish an independent and extramurally funded research program that addresses fundamental questions in basic and biomedical research. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. degree (or equivalent) and have postdoctoral experience. Evaluation criteria will include scientific excellence, collaborative opportunities within the BMB department and UTHealth, as well as the candidate’s potential to contribute to graduate and medical student education.
Competitive salary and benefits commensurate with experience will be offered. Applicants should prepare a single PDF file including the following components.
