Process Engineering Advisor II
Location: Port Arthur, Texas
Duration: Contract to Perm
Position Overview
We are seeking a Process Safety Advisor to champion and lead process safety excellence across our operations. This role is critical in embedding a strong safety culture through targeted training, field engagement, structured risk assessments, and leadership coaching. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic communicator with deep technical knowledge in process safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and promote process safety initiatives across operations.
- Conduct and facilitate risk assessments, HAZOPs, and process safety studies.
- Develop and deliver process safety training programs.
- Perform consequence modeling and other risk analysis activities.
- Provide leadership coaching and support to embed safety culture.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Engineering degree in Chemical, Process, Mechanical, or Process Safety Engineering (or equivalent).
- 2-5 years of relevant industry experience in process safety.
- Strong knowledge of the petrochemical industry and regulatory requirements.
