BB&E is an employee-owned, full service civil and environmental engineering and consulting firm, headquartered in Northville, Michigan, which services both the Federal and Industrial sectors throughout the United States. BB&E team members provide Environmental Consulting, Facilities Engineering and Program/Project Management Services to Federal and private sectors.
Position Summary
BB&E is currently looking for an Administrative Professional to support the Environmental Directorate, AFCEC/CZ onsite at JBSA-Lackland, TX.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage over 480 CZ Directorate positions on the CZ Civilian Manning Tracker (CMT) to ensure accurate data and CZ manpower initiatives are provided weekly to the AFCEC/CZ Director, Staff and Environmental Division Chiefs.
- Update CZ organization charts to reflect latest manpower changes.
- Attend weekly Personnel and Manpower meetings with CZ Division Chiefs, AFIMSC/DPP (Personnel) and AFIMS/DPB (Manpower) to discuss ongoing AFCEC/CZ personnel actions and determine appropriate actions and next steps related to RPA packages and status reports for all vacant and processing personnel packages.
- Draft Request for Personnel Action (RPA) packages for reassignment and recruit fill of AFCEC/CZ positions and submit to AFCEC/CZ Division Chiefs and supervisors for review/submittal.
- Draft Direct Hire Actions (DHA) fill actions packages, retrieve pertaining documents required from prospective candidate and submit to supervisor for review/approval/submittal of complete package.
- Draft Positions Description (PD) Classification packages for AFCEC/CZ positions.
- Prepare Authorization Change Requests (ACR) and Organizational Change Requests (OCR) packages to relocate, realign and deactivate positions within the AFCEC/CZ Directorate.
- Collaborate with AFIMSC/DPP to determine if CZ personnel are on the most current PD documents. Identify outdated PDs and PDs that require rewrites and resubmit packages to assign personnel to the correct PDs.
- Communicate with AFIMSC/DP to follow up on stagnant actions and provide personnel action status updates as requested by AFCEC/CZ Division Chiefs and Branch Chiefs
Requirements
Key Qualifications
· U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain/maintain a NACI/CAC is required
· Software: Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Adobe, SharePoint, and Outlook is required
· Knowledge: Must be able to prepare meeting minutes and action items report, organize and prepare meeting materials, manage meeting logistics and facilitate meetings
· Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Organizational Skills: Must have a high degree of organization when performing tasks
· Self-Starter: Highly motivated, with the ability to communicate with installation points of contact on a routine basis
Experience & Education
· Experience: Minimum of three (3) to ten (10) years of related experience is required
· Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent is required
Physical Requirements
· Ability to stand/walk/climb/kneel/crouch and remain in a stationary position/sit at least 60% of the time
· Ability to operate office equipment, including computer, copy machine, phone, etc.
· Ability to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms
· Capable of lifting up to 25 lbs.
· Ability to see details of objects that are less than a few feet away
· Ability to understand the speech of another person, speak clearly so listeners can understand, and talk or hear both in person and by telephone
