#Education & Job Requirements
*High School Diploma required; Associate Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience preferred.
*A minimum of 5 years of experience in technical aircraft wiring, electrical systems, or related support.
*Ability to read and interpret aircraft wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings.
*Ability to solder to J-STD standards and crimp/assemble connector contacts and cable assemblies to aircraft standards.
*Familiarity with serial data interfaces including ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553, RS422, RS232, Ethernet, and IEEE-488.
*Experience installing fiber optic cabling for reflective memory hardware.
*Ability to use hand tools and shop equipment safely, including hand drills, wire crimpers, wire strippers, and soldering tools.
*Good oral and written communication skills.
*U.S. Citizenship required; must be able to obtain a clearance if needed.

#Job Duties & Functions
*Fabricate interconnecting cables and harnesses according to engineering drawings.
*Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of test bench and lab infrastructure equipment.
*Read and interpret aircraft-level wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings for assemblies.
*Wire and test serial data interfaces and fiber optic connections.
*Use appropriate hand tools and shop equipment safely and efficiently.
*Follow all safety, quality, ESD, and FOD protocols.
*Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule.
#Physical Requirements & Environment
*Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in confined areas for extended periods.
*On-site work required at Bell Textron Plant 6.
*Work in a manufacturing/lab environment with potential exposure to electrical hazards, shop equipment, and moving parts.
