Billing Clerk - Houston

A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Billing & Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage the firm's legal billing process and related A/R functions.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and distribute monthly legal invoices.
- Review attorney time, expenses, rates, adjustments, and write-offs for accuracy.
- Manage e-billing submissions and resolve rejected or disputed invoices.
- Work with attorneys and clients to resolve billing questions and issues.
- Monitor A/R aging and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Post and reconcile client payments, credits, and adjustments.
- Assist with billing reports, reconciliations, and month-end processes.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of legal billing experience in a law firm.
- Strong knowledge of legal billing and A/R processes.
- Experience with e-billing platforms preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and Excel skills.
- Experience with legal billing or accounting software.
