About the Role
This work-as-needed, part-time position is ideal for experienced residential construction professionals who take pride in exceptional customer service. You’ll serve as a key point of contact for new home buyers, helping ensure a smooth, confident transition into their new homes.
As the welcoming face and voice of our company, you’ll support buyers during one of life’s most exciting milestones—moving into a new home—while helping maintain high customer satisfaction and retention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver prompt, professional, and friendly customer service to new home buyers and builders.
- Conduct new home orientations and walkthroughs, ensuring all details are reviewed and properly documented.
- Meet with clients on-site to explain procedures, answer questions, and document potential construction-related items.
- Maintain regular communication with the Director of Field Operations and Strategic Accounts, providing updates on progress and performance.
Travel & Work Setting:
- This is a remote position with field responsibilities.
- Must reside in or near San Antonio, TX.
- Regular local travel throughout San Antonio and surrounding areas is required.
- Must be willing to travel to Austin, TX 1–2 times per week.
- Flexibility and availability are essential.
Our Ideal Candidate:
We’re looking for motivated individuals with experience in residential construction, carpentry, installation, home inspection, renovation, firefighting, or similar fields . Successful candidates bring energy, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to customer service.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Residential construction experience strongly preferred.
- Experience conducting walkthroughs and documenting construction-related items is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable interacting with homeowners, builders, and internal teams.
- Proficient with iPad, Microsoft Office Suite, PDF Expert, and Adobe PDF.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods during fieldwork.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
