Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour based on experience Expected hours: No less than 40 per week Health, dental and vision offered after 90 days. We offer competitive pay rates and opportunities for career advancement. Job Overview: SC Bell Construction is seeking a skilled and dedicated Equipment Operator to join our team of professionals. As a company specializing in the expert footing of equestrian arenas, we take pride in building and maintaining world-class arenas for top trainers and performers across all equestrian disciplines nationwide. PLEASE NOTE: We travel frequently, with -40% of work being out-of-town. When we are on the road, we travel all over Texas and surrounding states. Lodging and business expenses covered for the duration of travel. Multi-day stretches can last from one overnight to a two-week stretch. Ability to Relocate: Weatherford, TX Duties: Operate skid steers, dozers, tractors, excavators, water trucks, rollers, wheel loaders & dump trucks Perform tasks such as digging, building, and moving materials Ensure equipment is properly maintained (greased, fueled, washed, etc.) and report any malfunctions or damages Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively Experience: Finish grade experience is required Experience with laser automation and GPS preferred Strong knowledge of equipment maintenance and safety procedures Ability to read and interpret blueprints or construction plans Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness Physical stamina to withstand long hours of work in various weather conditions Qualifications: Strong attention to detail, perfectionism in finished work product! Experience in heavy equipment operation, with a focus on construction sites Proficiency in operating dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, skid steers, and various trucks Commercial driving experience and mechanical knowledge Familiarity with GPS systems for equipment navigation Willingness to help out in a team environment Employment Type: Full Time Years Experience: 1 - 3 years Salary: $23 - $28 Hourly Bonus/Commission: No
