Position Summary:

Award winning commercial landscaping company is looking for a seasoned and motivated Landscape Mechanic and Equipment Service Technician.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain, diagnose, and repair a wide range of landscape equipment (2-stroke and 4-stroke engines) including blowers, trimmers, edgers, chainsaws, push mowers, and zero-turn mowers.
• Perform routine service and repairs on company vehicles (light/heavy-duty trucks, box trucks, and trailers), including oil changes, brakes, tires, and filters.
• Assist with welding and fabrication repairs as needed.
• Accurately manage equipment inventory and service records using computer systems for parts lookup and manuals.
• Ensure timely, cost-effective repairs while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized shop.
• Communicate equipment needs with the team and follow all company safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of automotive and small engine maintenance.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Must be self-motivated with the ability to manage tasks independently.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be eligible to work in the US. We participate in E-Verify.

Working Conditions:

• Primarily shop-based with some outdoor work.
• Exposure to noise, dust, grease, and varying weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor.
