Forklift Operator/Warehouse Worker

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts and material handling equipment to facilitate the efficient movement of goods within our warehouse. This role is critical to ensuring that shipping and receiving operations run smoothly, contributing to overall warehouse productivity.
Responsibilities
Operate forklifts, including cherry pickers and pallet jacks, to load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
Perform shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory management.
Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage stock locations effectively.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation and report any maintenance needs.
Assist in materials handling by moving products throughout the warehouse as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
Collaborate with team members to build pallets for shipment, ensuring proper stacking techniques are followed.
Engage in heavy lifting tasks as required, consistently following safety guidelines.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role within a warehouse environment is preferred.
Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes, as well as materials handling techniques.
Ability to operate various forklifts including order pickers, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks safely.
Proficient in using RF scanners and warehouse management systems for inventory tracking.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting tasks and stand for extended periods.
A valid forklift operator certification is a plus but not mandatory; training may be provided for qualified candidates.
