The HYROX Mission
We are launching HYROX-specific training programs leading up to HYROX Dallas 2025 . HYROX is the global fitness race combining running and functional strength trainingand it requires precision, endurance, grit, and serious coaching.

This is a part-time coaching role, focused on HYROX-specific programming for competitive athletes and general fitness clients interested in HYROX-style training.

What Youll Do
As a HYROX Coach at D1 Alliance, youll lead structured group classes and personal training sessions focused on preparing athletes for HYROX races. Your goal is to build strength, endurance, speed, and mental toughness while minimizing risk of injury.

Responsibilities:

• Lead HYROX-focused group training and 1-on-1 coaching sessions
• Develop and deliver periodized training programs tailored for the 8 HYROX stations and running intervals
• Modify programming to meet the needs of all fitness levels
• Track athlete progress and prep them mentally and physically for race day
• Promote education around movement mechanics, pacing strategies, and recovery
• Cultivate strong relationships with athletes to build retention and accountability
• Bring intensity, passion, and leadership to every session

What Were Looking For

Required:

• 1+ year of experience in strength & conditioning, group fitness, or performance coaching
• Level 1 HYROX Certification (will be provided)
• NCCA-accredited certification (NASM, NSCA, ACSM, ACE, etc.
• Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification
• Passion for coaching functional fitness or hybrid athletes
• Ability to scale workouts for various fitness levels

Preferred:

• CSCS certification
• HYROX race experience or coaching hybrid athletes (HYROX, DEKA, CrossFit, etc.)
• Bachelors degree in Exercise Science or related field
• Background in competitive sports or high-performance training

• Strong communication and leadership
• Team-first mentality and adaptability
• High energy with a passion for results

Compensation

• Group HYROX Sessions: Competitive hourly rate
• 1-on-1 Personal Training: Higher hourly rate
• HYROX Team Training Contracts: Variable pay based on size/scope
• Commissions available on personal training packages and renewals
