Accounts Payable Clerk
Essential Job Functions
- Responsible for timely and accurate accounts payable processing
- Process Invoices entering them into accounting system and communicates with vendors and branches on issues.
- Makes copies of check runs and matching them to appropriate invoices
- Filing of processed invoices, checks and PO’s
- Perform research as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Other Skills & Abilities
- Working knowledge of accounting processed and procedures
- Pays attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and Interpersonal skills
- Ability to identify errors, and employe problem solving skills to correct
- Proficient in relevant computer applications
Physical Requirements
- Talking, hearing and using hands to operate a computer keyboard, mouse and other computer components
- Sitting for extended periods of time
- Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- One to three years general accounting experience
- Must have ten-key (calculating) experience
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES
- Professional certification may be required in some areas.
