As part of a recently public company, you’ll have the autonomy and support to make an impact as we build for the long term.About the role: This is a dynamic, high energy role in which you will bring the Internet of Things to mid-sized customers, building Samsara's business and bringing the benefits of sensor data to customers. Typical sales will be $20k to $250k, and typically involve POCs, multiple stakeholders, multi-faceted pricing negotiations, and selling to executives and CXOs. This role will be fully remote, based anywhere in the United States. In this role you will: Develop Executive-Level relationships within your territory Own customer engagements end-to-end, from prospecting and qualification to close Demonstrate excellent solution-based sales process in complex sales campaigns Strategically outbound prospect Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices Minimum requirements for the role: Minimum of 2+ years experience in a full-cycle, closing sales role Experience selling full-cycle sales into complex environments (preferably within Public Sector - Local Gov, K-12, High Education) Must have a strong track record of overachievement to quota Cold calling, generating outreach, building relationships excites you Solid understanding of SFDC and accurate forecasting methodology Must be able to travel up to twice per quarter for onsites An ideal candidate also has: Awards for top achievement (President’s club, Winner’s circle, Top 10%) Experience public speaking in front of executive level personas Passion in closing large, complex deals Annual on-target earnings (OTE) range for full-time employees for this position is below and depends on your city of residence.
