General Assembler
Roles & Responsibilities
- Possess a basic understanding of production processes within the area of assignment.
- Have a working knowledge of manufacturing equipment.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and standard operating procedures.
- Transport materials of varying weight in accordance with established safety guidelines using material handling equipment and additional assistance as required.
- Demonstrate adherence to safety procedures by monitoring personal and peer behaviors, work environment, and housekeeping.
Perform all duties with attention to quality, safety, and environmental matters such as:
- Wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Identifying, reporting, and appropriately responding to hazards in the work area (spills/accidents/near misses).
- Maintaining proper housekeeping.
- Properly labeling and storing chemicals.
Experience Required
- 2 months of work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Skills & Certifications
- Operating skills of manufacturing equipment, tools, and hand/pallet jack are preferred.
- Problem-solving skills are highly preferred.
- Able to read, write, and understand basic English is preferred.
Eligibilities & qualifications
High School Diploma/GED preferred.
