Quality Manager

Akkodis is seeking a Quality Manager for a Contract with a client in Plano, TX. This role requires deep hands‑on experience in automation tools and BDD/TDD practices, this role focuses on building robust test frameworks and ensuring high-quality delivery across web and API platforms .

Rate Range: $53/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Quality Manager job responsibilities include:

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reusable automation frameworks for web, API, and microservices testing.

• Lead test execution using Selenium, Cucumber, Java, Postman, Rest Assured, and apply BDD/TDD methodologies.

• Collaborate and coordinate with Product, Tech, UAT, and Production Support teams to ensure smooth testing and delivery.

• Prepare detailed test reports, analyze defects, and support debugging through monitoring application logs.

• Utilize version control (Bitbucket/Git) and SQL querying to support test validation and automation workflows.

• Perform performance testing using tools like JMeter and contribute to Agile ceremonies and testing practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Formal training or certification in Software Engineering or a related technical discipline.

• 6–8 years of hands‑on experience in test automation and quality engineering.

• Proven expertise in Selenium, Cucumber, Java, BDD/TDD, and automation framework development for web, API, and microservices.

• Strong ability to collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders and demonstrate proficiency in performance testing, debugging, and Agile testing practices .

Pay Details: $53.00 to $56.00 per hour
