14029 - IT Programmer Analyst, Principal, GIS (Onsite) – Houston, TX

Type: Temporary Project
Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extensions
Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client

Required:
• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Houston, TX;
• Experience as an IT Programmer Analyst with GIS: (10+ years);
• Esri Geospatial Platform: Strong functional knowledge and background in Esri Geospatial Platform;
• Business, Application and Data experience;
• Experience defining roadmaps and standards;
• Application Development, System Configuration, and Support experience;
• Driving will be required as part of position duties/work

Preferred
• Experience with Esri Suite of applications in a hybrid environment (10+ years);
• Experience with GIS best practices and functionality;
• Bachelor's in Geographic Information Systems

Responsibilities
• Analyzes, designs, develops, tests, debugs, implements, maintains, integrates, customizes, and enhances existing or new systems
• Applies appropriate Agile or development methodologies, system development lifecycles, tools, and technology
• Automates the handoff of code releases from development to operations (DevOps)
• Participates in the change management and service ticket management processes including receiving, resolution monitoring, and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Leads projects when needed and builds strong working understanding of the solution being delivered
• Ensures user satisfaction by providing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and timely resolution of more complex problems
