Terminal Operations Manager
Location: Greater Houston Area (On-Site)
Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 or more (Flexible for strong candidates)

Overview
A growing industrial materials company is seeking a Terminal Operations Manager to oversee daily operations at a material distribution terminal in the Greater Houston area. This role is responsible for operational efficiency, safety compliance, maintenance oversight, inventory management, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily terminal operations including inventory control, logistics coordination, and cost management
- Ensure OSHA and environmental compliance standards are met
- Oversee safety programs and conduct regular inspections
- Manage staffing, training, scheduling, and performance of terminal employees
- Drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs
- Coordinate with logistics partners to prevent stockouts and demurrage
- Develop and manage terminal operating budgets
- Oversee facility maintenance including electrical and mechanical systems
- Maintain strong cross-functional communication with leadership and logistics teams
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in terminal operations, dry bulk distribution, or bulk materials handling
- Strong maintenance and electrical knowledge
- Experience supervising front-line operational teams
- Demonstrated cost control and operational optimization capability
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred (not required)
Work Environment & Schedule
100% On-Site role
Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed
