As a Customer Service Representative, you will become part of a supportive and fast-paced team responsible for assisting customers with rentals, equipment handling, and service-related needs. The role combines customer interaction with operational responsibilities, including inspecting equipment, coordinating rentals, and using modern technology systems to manage inventory and dispatch processes.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Assisting customers both inside and outside the U-Haul center with rental services and product support
• Using smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals, returns, and inventory tracking
• Inspecting, cleaning, and maintaining trucks, trailers, and rental equipment
• Connecting and moving U-Haul trucks and trailers safely
• Preparing rental agreements, invoices, and processing returned equipment
• Educating customers about available products, services, and rental options
• Installing trailer hitches and wiring systems when required
• Filling propane tanks after completing company-provided certification
• Operating forklifts following completion of training and certification programs
• Participating in ongoing training and development through U-Haul University
• Completing additional operational and customer service duties assigned by management

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification
• Ability to work in a physically active environment
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
• Ability to safely move and handle equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
