About the position

Altruist is entering an exciting phase, and we're looking for a Mutual Fund Billing & Relationship Associate to join our clearing operations team.

What you'll do

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all mutual fund complexes as relates to the Altruist platform.
• Request and negotiate dealer, servicing, and fee agreements with various mutual fund complexes.
• Manage the execution process for all negotiated mutual fund agreements.
• Catalog all agreement terms and conditions.
• Maintain a repository of all current agreements as well as previous iterations.
• Maintain a centralized mutual fund product database, including various identifiers and multiple fund attributes.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across various systems and databases.
• Monitor and announce corporate actions (e.g., name changes, fund liquidations, mergers).
• Ensure the mutual fund product database accurately reflects corporate actions and correct data.
• Perform regular audits and validations to ensure the mutual fund product database aligns with the latest industry data.
• Work closely with other departments, such as trading, compliance, and risk management, to integrate security master data into their respective systems.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in a similar role within the financial services industry.
• Solid understanding of mutual fund distribution models including the clearing broker-dealer and RIAs.
• Proficiency in using security master systems and related technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• FINRA Series 7, or 99

Dallas, TX salary range $79,000—$107,000 USD

Total compensation includes a competitive benefits package along with equity in the form of Stock Options (ISOs).
