Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position at a hospital in Texas, requiring a TX or compact RN license and at least 1 year of experience.

Details

• 29-bed Med/Surg unit with a cardiac and telemetry patient population
• Day shift: 06:45–19:15
• 13-week contract
• Charting performed in Epic

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license currently in hand
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIH Stroke Scale
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Valid driver's license required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Implements and monitors patient care plans, coordinates care across disciplines, and communicates patient condition as appropriate
• Assesses and coordinates patient discharge planning needs in collaboration with the healthcare team
• Navy or maroon scrubs required
• Local candidates are accepted; however, candidates residing within the facility's radius may be subject to a reduced pay rate
• COVID vaccination is not required
