I opened my agency in 2000 after spending 9 years working in State Farm claims, which gave me a strong foundation in customer service and problem-solving before moving into agency ownership. Our team now includes 5 team members who work together to support our customers and provide a welcoming, dependable experience. I’m a graduate of Clemson University, married with three kids, and a big fan of all things sports. Outside the office, you’ll usually find me at the beach, on the golf course, or spending time with family. As a Customer Service Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member with Erik Slaughter - State Farm Agent, you will generate the kind of exceptional customer experiences that reinforce the growth of a successful insurance agency. Your attention to detail, customer service skills, and desire to help people make you a fit. You will enhance your career while resolving customer inquiries, coordinating with other agency team members, and anticipating the needs of the community members you support. - Answer customer inquiries and provide policy information.
- Assist customers with policy changes and updates.
- Process insurance claims and follow up with customers.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to multitask.
- Previous customer service experience preferred.
