Veterinarian – High-Volume Spay & Neuter
Location: Boerne, TX| Part-Time | Nonprofit Clinic

About Us:
We are a nonprofit organization providing low-cost spay and neuter services to the residents of the Texas Hill Country and San Antonio area. Our mission is to reduce pet overpopulation and improve animal welfare through accessible, compassionate, and high-quality care.

We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate veterinarian to join our team. This is a part-time opportunity in a high-volume, low-cost clinic environment where you’ll have the chance to make a direct and meaningful impact.

Clinic Schedule & Compensation:

• Clinic operates Monday–Thursday

• Hours: Approximately 7:30 AM – 1:30 PM

• Compensation is per surgery performed

• Average monthly earnings: $5,000–$7,000

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-volume, high-quality spay and neuter surgeries for dogs and cats

• Conduct pre-operative examinations and ensure animals are fit for surgery

• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all patients

• Work collaboratively with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure efficient clinic operations

• Uphold the highest standards of animal care and welfare

• Participate in occasional wellness care and client education, as needed

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) from an accredited program

• Valid and active Texas veterinary license

• Previous experience in high-volume spay/neuter preferred, but not required

• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

• Dedication to compassionate, community-focused veterinary care

• Basic proficiency in small animal handling (experience with equine care is a plus, but not required)
