CGI is seeking a Junior Java AWS Developer candidate who will get an opportunity to work with a highly skilled team on the latest technologies. It helps the candidate to shape the career with matured agile project delivery, advanced Tech stack process.

This position can be located in Austin, TX (Preferred), Bloomfield, CT, Raleigh, NC, or Lafayette, LA

Your future duties and responsibilities
Work in an onshore-offshore model, with 4-5 offshore developers to migration Java to Python.
Follow engineering best practices and take pride in it.
Agile Ceremonies – Participate and Contribute
Applications Development

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
At least 2-3 years of experience in:
Full Stack Engineering practice - Designing, developing, deploying & testing
Experience in Java and Python required
Experience with healthcare Provider domain is needed
Experience with AWS services like – S3, SNS, SQS, Lambda, Glue, API Gateway, Step Functions

Nice to Have
. Strong Experience with Oracle/SQL, NoSQL
. Experience with container management software (Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift)
. Experience with Terraform
. Knowledge of TDD with at least unit test automation.
. Experience with CICD tools – GIT, Jenkins, SonarQube, Veracode/Checkmarx

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to: skill set level; experience and training; and licensure and certifications. CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $63,700 - $136,200.
