Position Responsibilities: - Assist with managing the daily operations of the Cash Applications team.
- Work closely with National A/R collection team by identifying, resolving and mitigating cash posting issues and/or concerns to aid in collection efforts.
- Assist with running bank reports in Wells Fargo CEO, BMO CAD & Citibank.
- Assist with balancing the banking to the General Ledger on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
- Daily team reversals, write offs and check copies.
- Assist with posting checks, ACH's and CAD payments as a backup.
- Develop close customer partnerships to resolve remittance issues.
- Partner with divisions to align on objectives and resolution of incoming cash and checks.
- Develop a solid understanding of warehouse and transportation procedures to form a solid understanding of how internal departments work that may or may not have an indirect relation to the cash team.
- Review existing process workflow and actively engage in ways to promote improvement through the use of technology.
- Demonstrated collaborative work style with a customer focused approach.
- Support monthly and quarterly financial close by providing reporting and audit support.
- Assist with conducting one-on-one performance reviews frequently to align with yearly performance reviews.
- Assist in the development of departmental policies and procedures.
- Train, coach and mentor members of the cash team frequently so we are providing the best service level agreements to our customers.

- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders in functions and teams across the business
- Experience working under pressure in a fast-paced work environment while consistently meeting standards for productivity and quality
Required Qualifications - Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience and managerial exposure in managing a team of associates in an operational role
- Must be able to write clear and easily understood procedures/standards
Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Hands on SAP system experience in ECC 6.0 A/P environment
- AS400 experience a plus
- Warehouse, transportation, or distribution experience a plus
- Advanced computer skills using a variety of software including Microsoft Excel for reporting and analysis.
- Ability to work effectively with large amounts of data, drill down into details and provide incisive high level overviews; extreme attention to details
