Remote Audiologist
Remote Audiologist | Remote Hearing Instrument Specialist hear.com
Locations: Anywhere United States
Must hold an active AUD or HIS license in CA, NY, PA, or TX. HIS must have taken and passed the ILE
Why This Role
Most audiology jobs tie you to a clinic, a commute, and a schedule that wasn't built around you. This one is different.
At hear.com, you'll deliver expert hearing care entirely from home (no front desk, no parking, no overhead). You'll work with patients who are motivated, matched to the right technology, and supported by a team that handles the logistics so you can focus on what you're passionate about: helping people hear well to live well.
This is teleaudiology at its most advanced, and we're looking for clinicians who are ready to practice in a way that's reshaping the field.
What You'll Do
- Conduct remote evaluations, device fittings, and follow-up care for patients across your licensed state(s)
- Educate and guide patients on getting the most from their hearing technology
- Provide feedback on new hearing care tools and workflows that improve the patient experience
- Collaborate closely with our Sales Team to ensure seamless patient journeys
- Contribute clinical insights to hear.com's global network, the largest independent audiology network in the world
What You Bring
- Active AUD or HIS license in CA, NY, PA or TX with 2+ years of fitting experience
- HIS applicants must have successfully passed the International Licensing Exam (ILE), administered by the International Hearing Society (IHS)
- A patient-first approach: empathetic, communicative, and genuinely invested in outcomes
- Comfort working independently and managing your own schedule and caseload
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work across teams in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable home internet: hardwired connection required (100+ Mbps download / 20+ Mbps upload)
- Willingness to obtain licensure in additional states (all associated costs fully covered by hear.com)
What We Offer
Compensation
- Total target earnings of $100,000 to $120,000, made up of a $61,800 base salary plus monthly uncapped performance bonuses
- We actively help you build a multi-state book of business, which grows your commissions
Benefits
- Full medical, dental, and vision coverage
- 401(k)
- Paid parental leave
- Open (flexible) PTO policy
- Continuing education and certification costs fully covered so you can stay at the forefront of the field
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm or 9am to 6pm in your time zone
- All equipment provided: laptop, monitor, keyboard, mouse, ethernet cable, and more
Culture
- A close-knit, performance-driven team that values ownership, collaboration, and solutions over hierarchy
- Real input into products and processes; your clinical voice matters here
