Job Title: Medical Surgical Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: Valid State License Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Epic Charting System Experience - Patient Ratio Experience: 1:5 Description: The position requires a skilled Medical Surgical Registered Nurse with experience in acute care settings. The nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a medical-surgical environment. Floating between units may be required based on patient care needs. Weekends are mandatory, with a minimum of 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week period. The expected patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:5. Special requirements include experience with Epic Charting. ACLS and BLS certifications are essential for this role. The right candidate will demonstrate strong skills in various areas, including but not limited to bariatric surgery, tracheostomy care, and wound care. Experience with pre- and post-operative care in surgical settings is required. Candidates should be adaptable to working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
