Certified Nursing Assistant
Job Summary
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides essential patient care and support services under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse (LVN/LPN). This role involves assisting with daily patient activities maintaining a safe and comfortable environment and supporting clinical staff as needed. The CNA works within established policies and guidelines and does not administer medications perform therapy or assume independent responsibility for patient care. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

Responsibilities
-
Provide direct patient care within the scope of the CNA role
-
Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) mobility hygiene and comfort needs

Support nursing staff with patient care tasks as directed
-
Maintain a clean safe and organized patient environment
-
Report changes in patient condition to supervising nurses
-
Follow all facility policies procedures and care guidelines

Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education & Training
-
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
-
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required (per state regulations)

Current BLS certification required
Experience
-
Minimum of 1 year CNA/PCT experience working with adult patients

Experience in acute care rehabilitation or skilled nursing preferred
