Locum - Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine Houston, TX

Job Opportunity – General Medicine Provider – West Virginia

Location: Gassaway, West Virginia (50-mile radius)
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 1 day per week on a PRN basis; flexible half-day (4 hours) or full-day (8 hours) options available
Highlights:
- Conduct compensation and pension exams plus separation health assessments for Veterans
- Primarily interview-based exams with basic physical assessments including range of motion and muscle strength testing
- No prescribing or treatment responsibilities required
- Must have your own office space within 50 miles of the listed location
- Quick credentialing and onboarding process
- One-time bonus of $650 for completing all required training and performing first exams
Requirements:
- Active and unrestricted West Virginia medical license
- Current AANP certification
- Proficiency in METs testing, and evaluating and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions
- Must own a laptop (Mac/Apple products not compatible)
- Own office space that meets ADA accessibility requirements with designated exam room
- Willing to complete DMA training and certification
- Background in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine preferred
- Experience with compensation and pension exams is a plus
