President, Texas Market
Position Overview
The President, Texas Market (the “President”) serves as the senior leader/general manager for Palm’s Texas market, with accountability for Texas Market P&L, growth, and overall performance. This President works closely with the CEO, COO, the senior medical leader, and corporate leadership to translate strategy into execution, drive financial and operational performance, and ensure strong alignment between clinical and operational teams. The President plays a critical role in scaling the market through disciplined execution, strong provider relationships, and successful integration of new clinics and providers. Interaction with provider team is critical and will require local travel.Key Responsibilities
Operations & Market Performance- Provide leadership and development to regional staff and clinic teams, establishing clear expectations, accountability, and operating cadence
- Ensures strong operational performance across the market through leadership of the operations and clinical teams
- Identify performance gaps and implement operational improvements to drive consistency, efficiency, and scalability across the market
- Sets performance expectations and holds operational leadership accountable
- Owns full Texas market P&L with ultimate accountability for financial performance
- Translate financial goals into actionable plans and hold teams accountable for execution
- Monitor performance trends and proactively identify opportunities to improve margins and efficiency
- Makes tradeoff decisions across growth, cost, and operations to achieve market targets
- Key leader responsible for driving provider performance, engagement, and accountability
- Sets expectations and ensures accountability through medical and operational leadership
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with providers and clinic administrators, ensuring alignment between operational support and clinical expectations
- Actively address performance gaps and ensure providers are supported with appropriate staffing, workflows, and infrastructure
- Ensures strong alignment between operations and revenue cycle to optimize market financial performance
- Owns market growth strategy and is accountable for expansion, provider recruitment, and new clinic development
- Maintain a strong local market presence, building relationships and identifying provider and partnership opportunities
- Acts as the primary external face of Palm in the Texas market
- Ensures market alignment with enterprise priorities while advocating for market needs at the executive level
- Partner with Finance, Revenue Cycle, Clinical, HR, and other teams to ensure coordinated execution across the organization
- Serve as the primary executive link between the Texas market and Palm Medical Centers corporate leadership
Accountable for overall market performance across the following dimensions:
- Operational: Access, productivity, staffing stability, patient experience
- Financial: Clinic-level profitability, cost management, contribution to market performance
- Clinical: Quality metrics, risk adjustment, value-based care outcomes
- Provider/Staff: Productivity, retention, engagement, performance improvement

- Market medical leadership (dotted line to Corporate CMO)
- Texas HR Manager (dotted line to Corporate HR)
- CEO, COO, CFO
- Compliance officer
- Dotted line to Texas market outreach team (direct to Chief Growth Officer)
- Business development, revenue cycle, managed care officer
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in business, finance, or health administration
- 8–12+ years of multi-site healthcare operations leadership, preferably in primary care setting
- Experience with full P&L ownership required
- Experience leading multi-site healthcare business or region as a GM/President, or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience owning business performance at the market, regional, or entity level
- Proven ability to collaborate and build relationship with providers and clinic staff
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing and achieving financial performance
- Proven ability to create process standardization across multiple sites
- Knowledge of Medicare Advantage and value-based care models
- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills

- Develop and begin executing a market growth plan
- Establish clear financial and operational targets for the market
- Establish credibility and strong relationships with providers, directors, and market leadership
- Develop a clear view of market level performance, identifying key gaps in access, productivity, and staffing
- Partner with the medical leadership to address provider performance variability and improve engagement
