Service Specialist II - VSD
- Under general supervision, ideal candidate performs repairs, routine checks, and troubleshooting on Horizontal Pumping Systems - HPS.
- Provides instruction and technical support to customer personnel in the proper handling and operating procedures of HPS.
- Will be responsible for tracking and maintaining preventive maintenance, repairs, alignments, and basic vibration analysis on HPS units.
- Prepare paperwork to include detailed service reports and forms.
- Trains and coaches new hires in basic principles.
- Ability and willingness to travel out of town when required.
- Promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness and complies with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations.
- Ensures compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines.
- Maintain mechanical performance and cleanliness of truck used in transportation to and from the field.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required and 1 to 4 years of experience in artificial lift operations.
- The ability to perform basic mathematical calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division is required.
- Basic reading comprehension and writing skills are required.
- Possession of a journeyman electrical certificate and 5-7 years of experience troubleshooting electronics, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
