Equipment Technician
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Equipment Technician to join our team in Mesquite, TX. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining and troubleshooting our industrial automation equipment. If you have a passion for problem-solving and a strong background in electrical systems and hydraulics, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Perform electrical troubleshooting on various industrial equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize your hydraulics experience to diagnose and repair hydraulic systems.
- Troubleshoot and maintain industrial automation equipment, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Program and modify PLCs to enhance equipment functionality and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to develop solutions for complex equipment issues.
- Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately and timely.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in electrical troubleshooting and repair.
- Strong background in hydraulics and hydraulic systems.
- Experience troubleshooting industrial automation equipment.
- Familiarity with PLC programming and modification.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
