As a Director of Business Developmentfor Texas, based out of our Houston office, you will help us empower our clients to achieve energy-efficient building solutions, save global environments, and create a better, greener future for all.
Why we need you:
In this role, you will exercise independent judgment to create and maintain client relationships that will develop business opportunities consistent with AEI’s strategic initiatives, achieved through collaboration with Principals, Market Leaders and other marketing and business development personnel. In conjunction with the respective Market Leader, you will negotiate and develop consultant/teaming strategies and guide the preparation of specific marketing documents and participate in interview preparation, as needed. In this role, you will continually research and update specific market analysis.
Expertise of our most successful Director of Business Development:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business administration, or related technical field.
- 7+ years of professional business development experience in a professional services industry preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to client/prospective client sites and other locations (conferences, etc.) where project development opportunities exist (depends on assignment).
