OVERVIEW

My Perfect Pet is seeking a dependable, hands-on Maintenance / Production Technician to support both manufacturing operations and facility maintenance within our production facility. This hybrid role plays a key part in maintaining efficient production flow, supporting equipment reliability, and ensuring food safety and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates well with cross-functional teams, and is willing to jump in wherever needed to support daily operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Production Support

• Assist production and packaging teams as needed
• Support daily batch production operations
• Operate production equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout work areas
• Follow GMPs, food safety procedures, and company SOPs
• Help monitor production flow and minimize downtime
• Assist with material movement, staging, and equipment setup
• Communicate production concerns or operational issues promptly

Maintenance Support

• Perform basic troubleshooting and repairs on production equipment
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance tasks
• Assist with inspections of machinery and facility equipment
• Maintain maintenance logs and repair records
• Identify potential mechanical or safety concerns proactively
• Support emergency repairs to minimize production downtime
• Assist with facility upkeep and continuous operational improvements
• Partner closely with Operations and Sanitation teams

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous manufacturing, production, or maintenance experience preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude required
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Comfortable working in cold, wet, and fast-paced environments
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Food manufacturing experience preferred but not required
