To help us continue expanding our offerings, we’re in search of an experienced Senior Product Manager who can help extend our reach. This person will define and bring our newest innovations in computer vision to market through our Computer Vision and Captana BU product line across hardware, software, AI, and more.
This person should be able to connect the dots across innovative technologies, developing the requirements and priorities for new offerings. This person should be able to influence internal corporate function across all levels with an ability to identify opportunities, build business cases, prioritize, and execute. They should have strong product management experience in new technologies with solid evidence of their success. Reporting to the head of Strategic Product and Partnerships, this person will be a key thought leader in expanding the breadth and depth of VusionGroup’s products and platforms.
- Product Management: Drive hardware and software product management for VusionGroup’s expanding initiatives in Computer Vision and AI, prioritizing key initiatives and ensuring we execute efficiently on the right requirements.
- Driving Stakeholder Alignment: Drive alignment across Product, Marketing, Engineering, Sales, Legal, Supply Chain, and other functions to ensure success.
- Stakeholder Management and Communication : Regularly update internal stakeholders on new and updated processes and facilitate company-wide portfolio review boards.
- Market Analysis : Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive offerings related to Access Point solutions.
- Business Case Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop compelling business cases for hardware, software, AI services, and more.
- Requirements Development : Collaborate with stakeholders, including engineering, sales, and customer support, to gather and define product requirements and specifications.
- Prioritization: Prioritize hardware and software initiatives in computer vision.
- Training & Support : Collaborate with training teams to develop educational materials and provide training sessions on the integrated solutions for internal teams and customers.
Qualifications
Qualifications we're looking for.
- Experience:
- 5+ years of product management, strategic alliances, partnerships, or technical business development experience, preferably with experience across hardware and software and in bringing innovative concepts to market.
- Proven track record of managing several complex projects with multiple stakeholders
- Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Willing to be “on record” and to write down clear requirements and priorities.
- Abilities:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment, fostering collaboration and driving consensus.
- A strong customer-oriented mindset, with the ability to understand and anticipate customer needs and translate them into product requirements.
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the retail technology sector.
- Experience with IoT, Computer Vision, Robotics, AI, and/or smart device ecosystems.
