We are currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of a Materials Data Clerk.

Role and Responsibilities

• Creates various daily reports to include; reports of shipment to customer sites, materials receipt reports, open customer purchase order reports and variance reports
• Completes comparison of materials data from company system against customer system data
• Completes discrepancy screening of customer materials and contacts customer for closure
• Completes data entry of receipts, shipments and inventory adjustments in customer web portal
• Conducts warehouse inventory tracking using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Enters shipment pre-alerts from customers and vendors into WMS
• Completes quarantined materials purge requests from customers
• Communicates with company and customer contacts through written communication (email and messaging) including program managers and customer buyer/planners to answers questions regarding shipment and receipt information
• Assists material handlers and other personnel in the movement of materials
• Moves customer materials as needed systematically
• Responsible for meeting ISO 9001 and/or other quality system requirements in their department
• May perform other duties as assigned

Education, Training and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• At least 2 years of experience in customer service and data manipulation; within a warehouse environment preferred
• Email and written messaging with intermediate Excel knowledge
• Working knowledge of warehouse management systems preferred
• Must be able to work in fast-paced team environment with general supervision
• Proficient English abilities required
• Ability to follow documented procedures, standards and policies
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methods preferred
• Excellent time-management skills

Working Conditions and Essential Abilities & Functions

• Warehouse environment (may not be climate-controlled)
• Lift/carry up to 20 lbs.
• Push/pull up to 50 lbs.
• Stand/walk for 8 hours
• Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, and crouching
