Test Engineer(PE-TE A Group)-Houston,TX

Purpose of the position
Ensuring that the quality and performance of products meet design requirements and user expectations. Through systematic testing processes, identify product defects, verify functional reliability, and assist in optimizing product design, resolve technical challenges, optimize production process, improve test efficiency.
Duties and Responsibilities

• Test readiness tracking and driven, lead product test line bring up and qualify (GRR, CPK analysis, Audit and calibration), report and get approval.
• Test station/fixture sustaining maintain to ensure that test station/line is stable and smooth, to meet production target successfully.
• Test bundle & SW regression/dry run/control run/report and cut in, test process control logic setup, verify, maintain.
• Product test yield/retest/fixture downtime rate tracking and improvement.
• Test major test issue/failure/retest issue FA, highlight and co-work with F1 TE and other test team.
• UPH climbing support, GHLS and GHDS setting related maintenance.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to implement root-cause analysis and corrective actions for defects or non-conformities.
• Test process/coverage/TT/consumables life cycle optimization for cost reduction, participate in deploying automated system, digital system and predictive maintenance solutions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic information engineering, Electronic engineering, Mechanical Engineering, computer application technology, software engineering, or a related field. bachelor ’s degree is a plus.
• 3+ years of experience in server manufacturing engineering.
• Le ad to fix the technical issue, optimize the process and improve the yield/retest rate.
• Familiar with deploying automated system, digital system and predictive maintenance solutions

• This position has several direct reports from manufacturing engineering crew members.

• This role is primarily based in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing facility, requiring daily presence on the production floor to oversee processes, troubleshoot issues, and ensure operational efficiency.
• May require occasional weekend hours to support production deadlines, emergency repairs, or project implementations. .

• Software skills: Be able to use related test software and tools, such as test management software, data analysis software, Six Sigma, and statistical analysis tools;
• Programming language: Product test engineers need to be proficient in at least one programming language, such as Python, Java, or C/C++. These languages are very important in automated testing and help them write test scripts and tools;
• Ability to communicate effectively with developers to help fix problems found during testing.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, project management abilities and good report ability.
