About the Position
Neurological / Psychiatric Care
- Manage patients with mood disorders
- Provide care for pre- and post-neurosurgery patients
- Treat patients with traumatic brain injuries (TBI)
- Care for patients with cerebrovascular accidents (CVA/stroke)
- Support patients undergoing substance withdrawal
Orthopedic Care
- Assist with peripheral nerve block catheter management
- Care for orthopedic trauma patients
- Support total joint replacement cases
Clinical Duties
- Deliver high-quality care in a Med/Surg setting
- Perform IV therapy and phlebotomy
- Manage peripheral IV lines and ensure proper line care
- Provide respiratory support including:
- Nasal cannula oxygen therapy
- Non-invasive airway management
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification
