Republic Finance is seeking an Financial Analyst for its Finance team, to focus primarily on capital markets-related activities. This is a meaningful role with significant and broad responsibilities with exposure to ABS and high yield markets. This role will report to the Treasurer and will have significant exposure to the executive management team within the company. The Financial Analyst will have frequent interaction with executive management of the company and may be asked to periodically present information to various members of the management team (including the CEO and CFO). Internally, you will work closely with finance and operations partners in a collaborative dynamic team environment. Externally, you will work with our bank group, legal partners, rating agencies, etc. regarding all aspects of our funding/capital structure. This role is hybrid, from home and in our Plano, TX office. Job responsibilities are as follows:

  • Prepare and deliver monthly reporting as required by our various funding activities, including securitization trusts, asset-backed warehouse facilities, and bank asset-based credit facilities.
  • Assist in the management of revolving facilities to maintain compliance with transaction requirements, including compliance with required balances and assorted concentration limits across multiple entities. This will include building processes to optimize the utilization of our various funding tools (including asset-backed securitizations and revolving bank facilities)
  • Work closely with the transaction working group, including banking partners, rating agencies, internal/external legal and trustees during new debt-related transactions.
  • Monitor and provide monthly updates on available liquidity, securitization performance and loan portfolio metrics to help in strategic discussions with management.
  • Create quarterly Investor presentations for quarterly earnings.
  • Create other ad hoc reporting as required by management.
  • Develop standard presentation materials for external parties, management and board discussions.
  • Work closely with IT and other data stewards to improve and periodically update information availability for ongoing reporting and/or new securitization requirements.

Requirements

  • 0-1 year in a capital markets or commercial banking related position requiring strong analytical skills, or with an accounting firm with exposure to clients that have accessed the capital markets.
  • Proficient with MS Office suite.
  • Strong Excel skills required, experience with SQL and financial modeling is a plus.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, leadership skills, a high level of initiative, intellectual curiosity and creativity, and a robust understanding of the consumer lending business that includes the various facets of a specialty lending operation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting is required, advanced degree is attractive.
