The Opportunity

Lonestar Forklift is looking for a customer-oriented Branch Administrator & Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Garland, Texas . In this role, you will be responsible for greeting and directing customers and branch visitors in a professional and friendly manner, as well as preparing invoices for payment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

As the Branch Administrator & AP Clerk, your key responsibilities will include:

• Manage branch reception duties, including answering phone calls, collecting information, and directing walk-in visitors at the branch
• Coordinate shipments and interoffice mail
• Order and maintain office supplies
• Enter AP invoices into system and assign them for approval
• Track invoices and follow up with vendors on outstanding payments
• Enter safety data into the filing system and accurately maintain safety records
• Complete expense reports and provide administrative support to various departments including Sales, Rentals, Parts, and Service
• Assist with check runs
• Manage and reconcile branch petty cash

Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:

• Previous reception or customer service experience
• Previous accounts payable experience and/or knowledge of accounts payable processes
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills, planning skills, and multitasking ability
• Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-oriented mindset, including the ability to work with internal and external customers at all job levels
• Confident self-starter and team player

The base pay range for this role is: $45,500 to $52,000 per year, depending on experience.

This is an onsite role based in Garland, Texas .
