We’re looking for a skilled Line Cook who is passionate about food, hospitality, and teamwork.

Position Overview:

The Line Cook plays a key role in executing our menu with consistency and care. This position works closely with the kitchen team to prepare and plate café dishes, maintain quality standards, and ensure smooth service during peak hours.

Looking for an experienced cook that has worked in short order or traditional restaurant settings that require time management, speed, organization, and basic industry knowledge. Line cook will be responsible for setting up the day's station, cooking food to order, replenishing pars for menu items that they are responsible for, communicating needs for ordering/prep, and cleaning station and equipment used at the end of shift.

Prep Cook will be responsible for assembling items for a robust grab and go section of the market at two locations currently as well as supporting the prep needs of the hot line, working with other team members efficiently, communicating with management about items needed for ordering/waste, cleaning the equipment used and area worked in.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards
• Maintain station setup, restocking, and cleanliness throughout service
• Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion consistency
• Support prep work and batch cooking as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, following all sanitation and safety guidelines
• Collaborate with team members to support efficient service

Requirements:

• Previous line cook experience in a café, restaurant, or market kitchen preferred
• Strong knife skills and knowledge of kitchen equipment
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable transportation to Bedford, NY (limited public transit)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Passion for seasonal, high-quality food
