We are seeking an experienced Structural Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of cast-in-place concrete construction projects. This role is ideal for a construction professional with extensive experience managing vertical concrete structures including parking structures, mid-rise buildings, mixed-use developments, and other commercial concrete construction projects.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of cast-in-place concrete construction methods, formwork systems, project scheduling, estimating, cost controls, and field operations. This individual will work closely with estimating, operations, field leadership, and clients throughout the entire project lifecycle—from preconstruction through project completion.

This is a highly visible role requiring strong leadership, customer-facing communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining schedule, budget, quality, and safety objectives.

Duties / Responsibilities

  • Lead structural concrete projects from preconstruction through completion.
  • Collaborate with estimating teams during project planning and budgeting activities.
  • Assist in developing construction strategies, sequencing plans, staffing requirements, and formwork approaches.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.
  • Monitor project financial performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability.
  • Coordinate closely with field leadership, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure successful project execution.
  • Manage procurement and delivery of project materials, equipment, and resources.
  • Track project productivity, manpower utilization, and construction progress.
  • Review and manage change orders, project documentation, and contract requirements.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Foster positive client relationships through proactive communication and solution-oriented problem solving.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, contractual obligations, safety requirements, and applicable regulations.
  • Provide leadership and support to project teams throughout all phases of construction.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Â

Required Skills / Abilities

  • Proven experience managing cast-in-place concrete construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of vertical concrete construction methods and sequencing.
  • Working knowledge of concrete formwork systems and structural concrete operations.
  • Experience developing and managing project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.
  • Ability to effectively coordinate with field operations, estimating teams, subcontractors, vendors, and owners.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated sense of urgency and accountability in managing project deliverables.
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build trust and maintain positive working relationships.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software.
  • Ability to periodically visit active construction sites and work in varying outdoor conditions.
  • Ability to successfully pass background screening and drug testing.

Â

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience within cast-in-place concrete construction required.
  • Experience managing vertical concrete structures such as:
    • Parking Structures
    • Mid-Rise Buildings
    • Mixed-Use Developments
    • Commercial Buildings
    • Concrete Podium Structures
    • Other Cast-in-Place Concrete Projects
  • Experience collaborating with estimating teams and supporting preconstruction efforts preferred.
  • Proven experience managing projects from preconstruction through closeout.

Â

What We're Looking For

The successful candidate will be a hands-on construction professional who understands how cast-in-place concrete projects are built, scheduled, staffed, and executed. They will bring strong technical knowledge, sound business judgment, and a collaborative leadership style that helps drive successful outcomes for both clients and project teams.

This opportunity is best suited for a construction professional seeking a long-term career with an organization that values teamwork, accountability, operational excellence, and client satisfaction.
